As Lutheran Women in Mission, we joyfully proclaim Christ, support missions, and equip women to honor God by serving others.
The Purpose
The Purpose of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League of the Gulf States Districtis to provide each woman personal spiritual growth opportunities and encouragement so she is equipped to actively live in service for the Lord.
Gulf States District
The Gulf States District LWML, organized in 1965, includes six Zones with 59 groups from congregations in Alabama, the Mississippi Gulf Coast and the Panhandle of Florida with a membership of approximately 800 women.
